  • Do not share contact information, including emails, phone numbers, social media etc.

  • Do not request or seek out personal information of others or risk being banned.

  • Is too close to a staff username or attempts to impersonate staff

If your username is inappropriate for any of the above reasons, you will be removed from the whitelist until your username is changed back.

Game Guidelines

1. No Cheating or Hacking

  • Do not abuse glitches - game or plugin glitches should not be exploited. Please report all game or server glitches immediately.

  • Do not AFK farm or use any method to kill mobs without player input.

  • Do not use unapproved mods, especially mods that alter the game play. Shaders that only modify the appearance of the game are allowed.

2. No Buying or Selling In-Game Items for Real Money

In game trading with game currency/items are allowed but please do not use real life money to purchase any in-game items from another player.

3. Protections Only Apply to Plots Protected via Admin Requests

Builds can be protected by making a request to admins up to a maximum of 20,000 blocks.

If a build is protected, other players will not be able to damage them. For full instructions, visit our Protected Builds page.

Builds in areas of the map you have not claimed will not be protected.

4. No Griefing

Griefing is defined as the intentional changing or damaging of another player's property. This includes breaking another player's builds, killing another player's pets and stealing items that do not belong to you.

5. No Trapping or Killing Players

No intentional trapping or killing other players on Elysium, unless in designated PvP areas. Any traps will be removed and players who set them may be banned.

6. No Alternate Accounts

Please only have one account per player. No alternative or shared accounts are allowed and will be removed from the white-list.

7. Family Friendly Builds, Skins, and Banners Only

Please use your best judgement to only bring things into the server that are family friendly.

Inappropriate builds include:

  • Any symbols or objects representing intolerant or hateful groups

  • Any representation of private body part(s)

  • Any swearing or hateful words whether spelled using blocks, on signs, paper or books

  • Any reference to alcohol, drugs or adult establishments

Builds deemed inappropriate will be removed by moderators. Likewise, moderators will ask you to change your skins and/or remove banners that are not family friendly before being allowed to play.

8. Server Load

The Elysium team reserves the right to ask you to remove any builds or pets (if you have too many) that become overly demanding of the server. We will avoid doing so where possible but may have to in order to ensure a good game experience for all players.

Builds in areas of the map you have not claimed will not be protected.

Consequences

The Elysium team prioritizes maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. Prior to implementing any of these consequences, team members will make an effort to give at least one verbal warning.

Any players who experience these consequences may contact our team via private chat or email. Please make sure to specify the player's username in any inquiries.

Mute

Mute will prevent players from sending messages in chat. After being muted, you will typically receive a message explaining why.

Jail

Jailing is when a player is placed in a room where they cannot leave or interact with other players. Usually, this is a temporary measure where players are held while staff contacts their parent or guardian.

Ban

In extreme cases, players who violate our rules will be banned and temporarily unable to access the Elysium server. The timeframe for how long a player may be banned is up to the moderation team and in some cases, will be determined with parents/guardians.

Whitelist Removal

While this is rare, sometimes, we may have to remove players from the whitelist. This will happen with players who continually break rules and demonstrate they are not ready to be a part of a multiplayer server.
